Yogurt Scones

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 425 F and line a baking sheet.

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.

Cut cold butter into the mixture until it forms coarse crumbs.

Stir in golden raisins, if desired.

Add yogurt to the center well.

Mix with a knife until a soft, non-sticky dough forms; do not overmix.

Turn dough onto a floured surface and gently knead for 30 seconds.

Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness, then cut into 8 triangles with a floured pastry cutter.

Place scones on the sheet and brush with yogurt or sour cream.
