Wild Rice Meatballs

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 3500F.

  2. Simmer wild rice with 1/2 cup water for 30-35 minutes until almost tender, then set aside.

  3. Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil for 5-7 minutes until tender.

  4. In a large bowl, combine sautéed onion mixture, wild rice, seasoned salt, pepper, milk, and egg.

  5. Add ground beef and mix gently but thoroughly.

  6. Form into 1-inch meatballs and place on a broiler pan.

  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until no longer pink inside.

  8. Cool and freeze, or serve immediately.
