Wild Rice Meatballs
These baked meatballs offer a flavorful twist on a classic, incorporating wild rice, onion, and garlic for tender results.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 3500F.

Simmer wild rice with 1/2 cup water for 30-35 minutes until almost tender, then set aside.

Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil for 5-7 minutes until tender.

In a large bowl, combine sautéed onion mixture, wild rice, seasoned salt, pepper, milk, and egg.

Add ground beef and mix gently but thoroughly.

Form into 1-inch meatballs and place on a broiler pan.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until no longer pink inside.

Cool and freeze, or serve immediately.
