Wild Mushroom Cream Sauce

Instructions

Soak mushrooms in hot water for 15-20 minutes; strain, reserve liquid, and finely chop mushrooms.

Heat butter and olive oil in a sauté pan over medium heat. Sauté shallots until tender, then add garlic for 1 minute.

Add chopped mushrooms and reserved liquid; simmer until liquid nearly evaporates (1-2 minutes).

Stir in cream and ground thyme; simmer 4-5 minutes until reduced and thickened.

Season with salt and pepper; stir in parsley and serve.
