Whole Stuffed Cabbage With Ground Beef

Whole cabbage is stuffed with a savory ground beef and rice mixture, then baked and topped with a cheesy tomato soup sauce.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. Prepare the cabbage by carving out a large central cavity.

  3. Combine ground beef, onion, rice, one can of soup, salt, pepper, diced celery, and the carved-out cabbage pieces.

  4. Place the cabbage in a large round casserole dish with 1/2 cup water.

  5. Fill the cabbage with the meat mixture, cover, and bake for 1.5 hours.

  6. Melt cheese with the remaining can of tomato soup.

  7. Remove cover, then pour the melted cheese and soup mixture over the cabbage.

  8. Return to the oven, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
