Combine white chocolate chips, butter, heavy cream, and salt in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave in 30-second intervals for 1-2 minutes, stirring until fully melted.

Cover the mixture and refrigerate for about 2 hours until firm enough to scoop.

Scoop into 1-inch balls, then dust hands with confectioners' sugar and roll them smooth.

Place truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate while preparing the coating.

Melt white candy coating in a separate microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
