Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine water, milk, oil, yeast, and sugar; let stand 10 minutes until bubbly.

  3. Gradually add flour and salt to form a firm dough, adjusting flour as needed.

  4. Knead dough on a lightly floured surface for 3 minutes.

  5. Place dough in a greased bowl, flipping once to coat the top.

  6. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes.

  7. Turn dough onto a floured surface, then knead out air.

  8. Shape into a mini loaf and place in a greased mini loaf tin.

  9. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.

  10. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes, or until golden brown.

  11. Remove loaf from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.

  12. Slice the cooled bread; store in a plastic bag to maintain softness.
