Vegetarian Wontons
Golden and crispy vegetarian wontons, filled with a savory mashed tofu and Asian seasoning blend, are served with a sweet and spicy hoisin sauce.

Instructions

Preheat deep-frying oil to 360-375 F.

Drain and mash the tofu; separately beat egg with salt and pepper.

Combine mashed tofu, vegetables, beaten egg, soy sauce, ginger, sugar, and sesame oil; mix thoroughly.

Place a teaspoon of filling on each wonton wrapper, wet the edges, fold into a triangle, and seal.

Deep-fry wontons for approximately 2 minutes until golden and crispy.

Serve hot with hoisin or soy sauce.
