Instructions

  1. Chop or tear seitan into approximately 2-inch pieces.

  2. Heat a thin layer of olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  3. Sauté the seitan for 5 to 10 minutes until lightly browned, stirring frequently.

  4. Reduce heat to medium-low; stir in hot sauce, maple syrup, lime juice, and salt.

  5. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring to coat the seitan.

  6. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
