Vegan Tofu Veggie Burgers

Instructions

  1. Press excess moisture from the tofu using a clean towel.

  2. Mash the pressed tofu in a large bowl.

  3. Combine mashed tofu with onions, green onions, wheat germ, flour, garlic powder, soy sauce, and pepper; mix well.

  4. Form the mixture into 1-inch thick patties.

  5. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Fry patties, in batches if needed, for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and crisp. An oiled stovetop grill pan can be used instead.

  6. Serve the burgers on vegan buns with your choice of toppings.
