Vegan Strawberry Sorbet
A simple fat-free vegan sorbet, featuring four ingredients (sugar, cornstarch, water, strawberries), can be prepared without an ice cream maker.

Begin by dissolving sugar and cornstarch in water in a saucepan over low heat; raise heat to boil and cook for 15 minutes until a thick syrup forms, then cool.

Thoroughly mix the cooled syrup with pureed berries.

Place the mixture in a container and freeze uncovered for 5 to 6 hours until solid.

Cut the frozen sorbet into chunks and process in a blender or food processor until smooth.

Scoop the smooth sorbet back into the container and freeze for another 5 hours; serve and store.
