Vegan Pizza Dough

Instructions

  1. Combine yeast, warm water, and sugar in a large bowl; let rest 5 minutes until bubbly.

  2. Stir in olive oil, flour, and salt, adding more flour as needed to form a soft, slightly sticky dough that pulls from the bowl.

  3. On a floured surface, knead the dough 5-7 minutes until elastic.

  4. Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled.

  5. Punch down risen dough, transfer to a floured surface, and knead several minutes until smooth and elastic.

  6. Use immediately, or wrap tightly to refrigerate or freeze for later use.
