Vegan Pierogi Dough

A simple vegan pierogi dough, free from eggs and dairy, is prepared using only flour, oil, salt, and water.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, oil, and water; mix until a dough ball forms.

  2. Adjust dough consistency by adding water if dry or flour if sticky, one tablespoon at a time, until smooth.

  3. On a floured surface, knead the dough for 3 to 4 minutes until elastic.

  4. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  5. Roll out, cut, fill, and cook the pierogi as desired.
