Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F.

  2. Melt vegan margarine in a saucepan, then stir in flour.

  3. Gradually add vegetable broth, soy sauce or tamari, garlic powder, and onion powder, stirring frequently until the sauce thickens.

  4. Whisk in vegetable oil and nutritional yeast until combined.

  5. Combine the prepared sauce and green beans in a casserole dish, then bake for 10 minutes.

  6. Remove the casserole, sprinkle with french fried onions, and bake for another 10 minutes.

  7. Serve.
