Vegan Cornmeal Breaded Tofu Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F and lightly oil a baking pan.

  2. Press tofu, then slice into 1/2-inch thick rectangular strips.

  3. Combine nutritional yeast, flour, cornmeal, chili pepper, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

  4. Coat tofu strips thoroughly in the mixture and place on the prepared pan.

  5. Bake 5 to 7 minutes until golden, then flip and bake an additional 5 minutes.
