Vegan Cornmeal Breaded Tofu Recipe
A simple vegan cornmeal-crusted tofu recipe that is ideal for children and pairs well with various dipping sauces.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 F and lightly oil a baking pan.

Press tofu, then slice into 1/2-inch thick rectangular strips.

Combine nutritional yeast, flour, cornmeal, chili pepper, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.

Coat tofu strips thoroughly in the mixture and place on the prepared pan.

Bake 5 to 7 minutes until golden, then flip and bake an additional 5 minutes.
