Vegan Angel Hair Pasta Primavera

Instructions

  1. Start boiling water for the angel hair pasta.

  2. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat; sauté onion, garlic, and basil until translucent (5-7 minutes).

  3. Stir in flour to form a thick paste.

  4. Gradually add soy milk and nutritional yeast, stirring constantly, then cook on low heat until the mixture thickens.

  5. In a separate pan, steam broccoli and carrots until barely tender.

  6. Add the steamed vegetables, mushrooms, and thawed peas to the white sauce with salt and pepper to taste; cook on low heat, stirring often, until fully heated through.

  7. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions.

  8. Serve the primavera sauce over the prepared pasta.
