Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

  2. Brown ground beef and onion until no longer pink, then stir in garlic for 1 minute.

  3. Add cabbage, tomatoes, tomato sauce, vinegar, salt, pepper, and optional cinnamon and nutmeg.

  4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20-30 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
