Instructions

  3. Melt unwrapped caramels in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds; add a spoonful of water if stiff.

  4. Cool caramel for 3 minutes, then spoon it onto the center of each pecan cluster; reheat caramel if it stiffens.

  5. Melt chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds, or use a double boiler.

  6. Spoon the melted chocolate over the caramel, covering completely.

  7. Refrigerate the candies for 30 minutes to set, then serve at room temperature.
