Turmeric Tea Recipe

An earthy and spicy ginger-citrus turmeric tea can be brewed using either ground or fresh turmeric root.

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a kettle or pot.

  2. In a teapot, combine the boiling water with turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, and lemon zest or peel; stir if using ground ingredients.

  3. Allow the tea to brew for 5-8 minutes if using ground turmeric, or 8-10 minutes for turmeric root.

  4. Strain the tea into teacups.

  5. Add 2 teaspoons of honey to each cup and garnish with lemon wedges.
