Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F.

  2. Beat butter and sugar until creamy, then incorporate eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.

  3. Whisk dry ingredients separately, then gradually add them to the wet mixture until just combined.

  4. Form dough into golf-sized balls, place on a parchment-lined sheet, and bake for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.

  5. Immediately flatten hot cookies with a drinking glass to create a smooth surface.

  6. Color frosting as desired and transfer to a plastic bag with a small corner snipped off.

  7. Frost the back of a peanut butter cup and center it on each cookie.

  8. Attach five candy corns above each peanut butter cup with frosting, arranging them as a fan for feathers.

  9. Cut orange candy corn pieces into beak shapes; use frosting to attach eyes and a beak onto the peanut butter cup.

  10. Place a rolled fruit candy strip next to the beak as a waddle, and pipe two lines with upside-down 'V's for feet beneath the peanut butter cup.
