Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375 F.
-
Beat butter and sugar until creamy, then incorporate eggs, vanilla extract, and milk.
-
Whisk dry ingredients separately, then gradually add them to the wet mixture until just combined.
-
Form dough into golf-sized balls, place on a parchment-lined sheet, and bake for 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
-
Immediately flatten hot cookies with a drinking glass to create a smooth surface.
-
Color frosting as desired and transfer to a plastic bag with a small corner snipped off.
-
Frost the back of a peanut butter cup and center it on each cookie.
-
Attach five candy corns above each peanut butter cup with frosting, arranging them as a fan for feathers.
-
Cut orange candy corn pieces into beak shapes; use frosting to attach eyes and a beak onto the peanut butter cup.
-
Place a rolled fruit candy strip next to the beak as a waddle, and pipe two lines with upside-down 'V's for feet beneath the peanut butter cup.
