Instructions

  1. Prepare tuna salad by mixing drained tuna with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, red onion, celery, parsley, lemon juice, dill, and pepper until blended.

  2. Assemble sandwiches: spread tuna salad on one bread slice, layer with tomato and cheese, then top with another bread slice.

  3. Butter one outer side of each sandwich.

  4. Heat a skillet over medium. Place sandwiches in the hot skillet, buttered side down.

  5. Butter the exposed top side of each sandwich. Cook each side for 4 to 6 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted.

  6. Slice and serve.
