Traditional Shish Kebabs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat.

  2. Combine olive oil, lemon juice, sea salt, cumin, grated ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.

  3. Place lamb pieces and the prepared marinade in a resealable container, mix thoroughly, and refrigerate for 2 to 24 hours.

  4. Thread the marinated lamb, onion, and pepper pieces onto skewers.

  5. Grill the kebabs for 8 to 10 minutes, turning every 2 minutes to cook all sides; extend cooking time for larger lamb chunks.

  6. Remove kebabs from the grill once cooked to desired doneness.

  7. Serve with lemon and lime slices.
