Traditional Alaskan Rose Hip Simple Syrup

Instructions

Wash rose hips thoroughly, removing stems and flower remnants.

Boil the prepared rose hips with water in a covered saucepan for 20 minutes.

Strain the boiled rose hips through a jelly bag, returning the clear liquid to the saucepan.

Add sugar to the liquid, stir well, and boil for 5 minutes until dissolved and thickened.
