Tomato Pudding

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 F.

  2. Grease a 3-quart baking dish.

  3. Combine tomatoes, sugar, paste, mustard, soda, and salt in a bowl.

  4. Arrange bread cubes in the dish and drizzle with melted butter.

  5. Pour the tomato mixture over the bread.

  6. Refrigerate up to 4 hours, if desired.

  7. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

  8. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired.
