Tiroler Gröstel (South Tyrolean Hash)
Tiroler Groestl is a comforting South Tyrolean hash made with beef and potatoes.

Instructions

Cook, peel, cool, and slice potatoes 1/4-inch thick.

Cut cooked beef into 1/2-inch squares.

Finely chop the onion.

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large pan, brown the onion, and remove.

Heat 1 tablespoon oil and 1 tablespoon butter in the pan; add potatoes and brown one side without stirring.

Flip potatoes, then add beef, onions, salt, pepper, marjoram, and caraway seeds.

Continue browning, stirring as needed, until heated through and crispy; add more fat if necessary.

Fry 4 eggs in butter in a separate pan.

Serve hash topped with a fried egg and parsley.
