Tilapia With Cilantro Cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F (190 C).

  2. Line a baking pan with foil, then spray it with nonstick cooking spray.

  3. Brush tilapia fillets with butter, place them in the prepared pan, and season with salt and pepper.

  4. Bake the fish for approximately 20 minutes, or until fully cooked and flaky.

  5. While the fish bakes, heat olive oil in a small saucepan, then sauté garlic and onion for 1 to 2 minutes.

  6. Add heavy cream, bring to a simmer, and reduce for 3 to 4 minutes.

  7. Stir in chopped cilantro, lime juice, zest, salt, and pepper, then continue to simmer for about 1 minute.

  8. Drizzle the finished sauce over each serving of baked tilapia.
