TikTok's Chicken Salad

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.

  2. Combine olive oil, lemon zest and juice, garlic, sumac, za'atar, salt, and honey in a jar; shake well and adjust seasoning as desired.

  3. Tear baguette into 1/2-inch pieces. Toss with 2 tablespoons olive oil and salt on a baking sheet, then bake for 6 to 8 minutes until golden. Set croutons aside.

  4. Season pat-dried chicken with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken for about 12 minutes, flipping once, until browned and reaching 170 F internal temperature. Rest chicken for 5 minutes.

  5. Combine croutons, spring mix, tomatoes, cucumber, bell pepper, onion, banana peppers, pickled jalapeños, mozzarella, and cheddar with two-thirds of the dressing. Arrange on a platter.

  6. Slice the chicken and place on top of the salad along with hard-boiled egg slices. Drizzle with the remaining dressing or serve on the side.
