Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.

  2. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

  3. On a floured surface, roll puff pastry into a 12-inch square, then trim corners to create a circle; save trimmings for optional decoration.

  4. Spread jam in the pastry center, then place the brie wheel on top.

  5. Whisk an egg with water to create an egg wash.

  6. Brush egg wash around the pastry edge, then fold the pastry over the brie and press to seal.

  7. Place the pastry-wrapped brie seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
