The World's Best Chocolate Pie
A rich chocolate pie features unsweetened chocolate, a light graham cracker crust, and a crown of freshly whipped cream.

Instructions

Whisk together sugar, cornstarch, flour, salt, and 1 cup milk, then mix in the remaining 2 cups milk.

Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, for 8-9 minutes until thickened.

Remove from heat, whisk in egg yolks, then return to medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, for 2-3 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in chocolate squares, butter, and vanilla until smooth.

Cool the filling for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, then pour into a graham cracker pie shell and refrigerate for 4 hours.

Beat whipping cream until soft peaks form; gradually add sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks.

Spread the whipped cream onto the chilled pie.

Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder before serving.
