The B-52 Shot

A popular triple-layered B-52 shot combines coffee liqueur, Irish cream liqueur, and orange liqueur, with an optional flaming variation.

Instructions

  1. Pour 1/2 ounce coffee liqueur into a shot glass.

  2. Float 1/2 ounce Irish cream liqueur on top using the back of a bar spoon.

  3. Float 1/2 ounce orange liqueur on the second layer, again using a spoon.

  4. For a flaming B-52, use slightly less of the three liqueurs, then add a thin layer of 151-proof rum on top.

  5. Light the rum on fire and extinguish it before drinking.
