Thai Iced Coffee

A traditional Thai iced coffee, surprisingly easy to prepare, relies on sweetened condensed milk for its signature flavor.

Instructions

  1. Combine 2 cups of strongly brewed hot coffee with 4 to 6 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk in a jug, stirring until dissolved.

  2. Add ice cubes to the coffee mixture and refrigerate for at least one hour.

  3. To serve, fill glasses with ice and pour the chilled coffee over.

  4. Finish each serving by topping with a few tablespoons of evaporated milk or heavy cream.
