Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, melt butter, then cook onion and celery for 4 to 5 minutes until soft.

  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 15 to 20 seconds.

  3. Stir in water and a bouillon cube until dissolved.

  4. Add remaining ingredients and simmer on low for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Remove from heat and cool for 15 minutes.

  6. Blend the sauce until smooth for 15 to 20 seconds.

  7. Use immediately for basting grilled or smoked meats.
