Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F and spray a 9x13-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Arrange chicken pieces, skin-side up, in the prepared dish and top with chopped onion.

  3. Pour salsa evenly over the chicken and season with chili powder, salt, and pepper.

  4. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, basting occasionally, until chicken reaches 165 F and juices run clear.

  5. Serve immediately.
