Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F.

  2. Prepare a 2- to 3-foot piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil.

  3. Center 1 to 1.5 pounds of 1-inch thick chuck steak on the foil, then sprinkle with 1 ounce of onion soup mix.

  4. Top the steak with 3 peeled and quartered potatoes, 3 halved and quartered carrots, and 2 celery sticks. Dot with 2 tablespoons of butter, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of paprika.

  5. Seal the foil package tightly to retain juices.
