Tekkamaki Tuna Sushi Roll
An easy recipe for preparing tekkamaki, or tuna sushi rolls, a popular Japanese delicacy.

Instructions

Cut nori sheets to 4 x 7.5 inches and slice tuna into 0.5-inch thick, 7.5-inch long sticks.

Place a sushi mat on a work surface, then lay a nori sheet on it, aligning one long side with the front edge.

Spread 3/4 cup of sushi rice evenly over the nori.

Arrange tuna sticks horizontally on the rice.

Roll the mat forward to form a tight cylinder, pressing firmly.

Remove the finished roll from the mat.

Repeat this process for all remaining ingredients.

Wet a knife and slice the sushi into bite-sized pieces; serve immediately with soy sauce and wasabi.
