Tekkamaki Tuna Sushi Roll

Instructions

  1. Cut nori sheets to 4 x 7.5 inches and slice tuna into 0.5-inch thick, 7.5-inch long sticks.

  2. Place a sushi mat on a work surface, then lay a nori sheet on it, aligning one long side with the front edge.

  3. Spread 3/4 cup of sushi rice evenly over the nori.

  4. Arrange tuna sticks horizontally on the rice.

  5. Roll the mat forward to form a tight cylinder, pressing firmly.

  6. Remove the finished roll from the mat.

  7. Repeat this process for all remaining ingredients.

  8. Wet a knife and slice the sushi into bite-sized pieces; serve immediately with soy sauce and wasabi.
