Instructions

  1. Heat water to the appropriate temperature for steeping your desired tea, then steep it for the recommended time.

  2. Strain out the tea leaves and bring the liquid to a rolling boil over high heat.

  3. Stir in sugar until completely dissolved.

  4. Reduce heat to medium, stirring often, until the mixture reduces by half its volume, about 12 minutes.

  5. Remove from heat and cool.

  6. Pour into a clean, lidded jar and refrigerate for up to 6 months.
