Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 225 F.

  2. Combine water, egg, butter, food coloring, and poi, then gradually add whisked dry ingredients.

  3. Mix all ingredients in a stand mixer with a dough hook until smooth.

  4. Roll the dough into balls on a floured surface and set aside to rise for 15-20 minutes.

  5. Line a baking pan with foil, arrange the risen taro balls in a 3x4 pattern.

  6. Bake for 20 minutes.
