Instructions

  1. Start boiling a large pot of salted water for the pasta.

  2. Heat oil in a skillet, then sauté onion and garlic for about 2 minutes until soft; remove and set aside.

  3. In a blender, combine spinach, basil, cheese, and milk; process until smooth. Add the sautéed onion and garlic, then blend again until fully smooth, adding more milk if needed.

  4. Cook pasta in the boiling water until al dente.

  5. While pasta cooks, melt butter in the reserved skillet. Add the blended sauce and cook, stirring, for 3-4 minutes until heated through; keep warm.

  6. Drain pasta, return to the pot, and toss with the warm sauce. Season if necessary and serve.
