Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F, then grease and flour two 8-inch cake pans.

  2. Beat eggs for 5 minutes until thick and lemon-colored, gradually adding sugar.

  3. Sift dry ingredients together, then alternately stir them in with the cream and vanilla; beat well.

  4. Evenly spread the batter into the prepared pans.

  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, then cool in pans for 10 minutes before removing.
