Sweet and Spicy Beer Steamed Rock Crab

Instructions

  1. In a large covered stockpot, bring beer, sugar, seafood seasoning, vinegar, and spices to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. Add crabs and stir.

  3. Cover and steam for 5 to 7 minutes for cooked crabs, or 10 to 15 minutes for raw crabs, stirring occasionally.

  4. Remove crabs, serve hot, and sprinkle with additional seasoning if desired.
