Sweet and Spicy Beer Steamed Rock Crab
Rock crabs, whether precooked or raw, develop great flavor when steamed in a seasoned beer mixture.

Instructions

In a large covered stockpot, bring beer, sugar, seafood seasoning, vinegar, and spices to a boil over medium-high heat.

Add crabs and stir.

Cover and steam for 5 to 7 minutes for cooked crabs, or 10 to 15 minutes for raw crabs, stirring occasionally.

Remove crabs, serve hot, and sprinkle with additional seasoning if desired.
