Sweet and Sour Steak Stir-Fry

Instructions

  1. Cut steak into 2x1/2-inch strips.

  2. In a bowl, combine broth, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, ginger, and pepper; mix well. Add steak and marinate for 10 minutes.

  3. Prepare and arrange all vegetables.

  4. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  5. Remove steak from marinade, reserving the liquid. Stir-fry steak until browned but still pink; remove from wok.

  6. Add onion to the wok and stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add garlic, bell pepper, and mushrooms; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp-tender.

  7. Return steak and its juices to the pan. Stir reserved marinade and add to wok; stir-fry until sauce thickens.

  8. Add grape tomatoes and stir-fry for 1 minute.

  9. Serve hot, optionally over rice.
