Instructions

  1. Combine cabbage, scallions, pine nuts, carrots, oranges, and cranberries in a large zip-top bag.

  2. In a jar, mix brown sugar, pepper, salt, vinegar, reserved orange liquid, oil, consomme powder, and garlic powder; shake well.

  3. Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients.

  4. Refrigerate for at least one hour to allow flavors to meld.
