Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 275 F.

  2. Combine onion, garlic, chile, soy sauce, fish sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, maple syrup, and cornstarch in a bowl; whisk until smooth.

  3. Pat pork ribs dry, place in a baking dish, and pour the prepared sauce over them, ensuring full coverage. Marinate in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours if desired.

  4. Roast the ribs in the preheated oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, or until thoroughly cooked and tender.

  5. Cut the cooked ribs into portions and serve over jasmine rice, topping with extra sauce and sliced spring onions if preferred.
