Stuffed Meatloaf Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 F and line a 9x13-inch pan with foil and non-stick spray.

  2. In a medium bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, and garlic powder for the glaze.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk ketchup, eggs, and Worcestershire sauce. Add meat, onion, breadcrumbs, salt, chili powder, thyme, parsley, garlic powder, and brown sugar; mix well.

  4. Form slightly more than half the meat mixture into a flat loaf in the prepared pan, creating a 1-inch deep and wide well in the center.

  5. Mix Gruyere and mozzarella, then add the cheese to the well. Cover with the remaining meat mixture, forming a dome and leaving a 1/2-inch border.

  6. Spread 1/4 cup of the glaze over the meatloaf. Bake for 50 minutes, basting with the remaining glaze every 20 minutes.

  7. Remove, slice, and serve the cooked meatloaf.
