Strawberry Jujubes
Chewy, fruity gelatin-based treats, reminiscent of popular store-bought candies, can be easily prepared at home.

Instructions

Lightly wet a 6-inch-square pan, a knife, or a cookie cutter.

In a medium saucepan, combine gelatin, sugar, puree, and 2/3 cup water.

Stir over medium heat until the sugar and gelatin dissolve.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover and boil for 5 minutes.

Pour into the prepared pan and allow it to set completely.

Once set, turn out onto waxed paper and cut into shapes using the wetted tool.

Roll the candies in granulated or superfine sugar.
