Stovetop Fudge

A smooth and chewy chocolate fudge can be quickly prepared on the stovetop in under 10 minutes, requiring no special equipment or extended beating.

Instructions

  1. Line an 8x8-inch pan with aluminum foil and spray it with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. Combine cream and corn syrup in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the mixture boils for one minute.

  3. Remove the pan from heat, then stir in the chocolate chips until melted and the mixture is smooth.

  4. Incorporate the powdered sugar, stirring until smooth, then add the vanilla extract and toasted chopped walnuts, stirring until distributed.

  5. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan, smooth into an even layer, and refrigerate for approximately 2 hours until firm.

  6. Lift the set fudge from the pan using the foil and cut it into small squares.
