Stovetop Beef Chili

A quick stovetop beef chili features ground beef, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, onion, garlic, and various seasonings for a hearty meal.

Instructions

  1. In a stockpot, sauté ground beef with onion and garlic until the beef is no longer pink and the vegetables are tender, breaking up the meat.

  2. Sprinkle flour over the beef mixture and cook, stirring, for 2 to 3 minutes.

  3. Add diced tomatoes, water or beef stock, tomato sauce, taco sauce, chili powder, ground cumin, dried oregano, and red kidney beans; bring to a boil.

  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently until the chili thickens and flavors are blended.

  5. Serve immediately with desired toppings.
