Stir-Fry Chinese Celery

Instructions

  1. Prepare celery by removing leaves and roots, rinsing, then crushing and slicing stalks into 1-inch sections.

  2. Heat oil in a wok over high heat; stir-fry garlic and chili for a few seconds until fragrant.

  3. Add celery and stir-fry for about one minute until slightly dark green.

  4. Pour in broth and cook for 30 seconds.

  5. Add soy sauce, rice wine, and sugar; mix thoroughly.

  6. Continue to stir-fry for several minutes until the mixture is nearly dry, then serve.
