Stir-Fried Bok Choy Recipe
A quick and easy stir-fried bok choy dish, perfect as a versatile vegetable side.

Instructions

Separate bok choy leaves, slicing wide white sections lengthwise if needed.

Combine all stir-fry sauce ingredients in a bowl and stir to dissolve sugar.

Heat a wok or large frying pan over medium-high heat, add oil, and swirl.

Add bok choy and 2 to 3 tablespoons of sauce; stir-fry for 1 to 2 minutes until the pan begins to dry. Gradually add more sauce and continue stir-frying until the bok choy is bright green and the white stems are tender-crisp.

Taste the dish and adjust seasoning with sugar for sweetness or lime juice for tartness; add chili if spicier flavor is desired.

Transfer the bok choy to a serving dish, pour the remaining sauce from the wok over it, and serve immediately.
