Spring Roll Wrappers

A simple recipe for homemade spring roll wrappers, ideal when premade options are unavailable.

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, stir salt into flour.

  2. Mix water into the flour to form a batter.

  3. Cover the batter and let it rest for 1 hour.

  4. Preheat a cooking-sprayed pan over medium-low heat.

  5. Adjust batter consistency with water if too thick; it should drip from a spoon.

  6. Reduce heat to low, then add a heaping tablespoon of batter to the pan.

  7. Quickly spread the batter into a 5-6 inch diameter circle.

  8. Cook briefly until the bottom is set and edges curl, ensuring not to overcook.

  9. Carefully remove the wrapper and store refrigerated or frozen for future use.
