Instructions
-
Cut 3 orange chewy fruit candies diagonally twice, then halve each resulting triangle lengthwise to create 24 thin beak shapes; for feet, cut 12 orange chewy fruit candies in half, then halve widthwise, then trim one edge of each to form 24 foot shapes.
-
Line a baking sheet with waxed or parchment paper.
-
Melt 16 ounces yellow candy coating in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
-
Dip each cookie completely in the melted coating, allow excess to drip off, then place on the lined baking sheet.
-
After dipping 3-4 cookies, immediately press one beak on top, two candy eyeballs above the beak, and two feet into the bottom of each cookie before the coating hardens.
-
Repeat dipping and decorating for remaining cookies, then refrigerate the tray for 15-20 minutes to set the coating.
-
Serve the set cookies immediately.
